In addition to the Administrator must activate new user accounts, options it would be very useful to have the ability to require user email verification instead.
This add-on is making exactly this, if enabled will verify the e-mail address of the users when they register. Verification will involve sending an e-mail to the users containing an activation link which they must click to activate the account. After customers follow this link, their account will be activated and will be signed in the store automatically. The add-on works both on the registration and checkout page. When customer hits the "Register" button will receive the standard notification email with the activation link included.
