This addon allows you to send what are known as transactional emails based on specific events being encountered. Most commonly, this is used to send a follow-up email to a customer who has purchased something at some point in the future. For example, you might send an email to everyone who purchases from your site 3 days after their order asking them to please post a review of the products they purchased (with links to the products).

There is a complete admin interface consisting of a management page that lists the current events to be triggered as well as pages to view email that is to be sent as well as emails that have already been sent. You can create events from a fixed list of actions which are predefined triggers. Currently, the actions for orders are:

  • Abandoned carts
  • One or more of a certain product was purchased.
  • Total order amount greater than some value
  • A particular payment method was used.
  • All orders placed.
  • Forms submitted
  • New users

There is an action setup for a new user registration too but it only has the new event associated with it. You can use this to send an additional welcome message offering new customers a special offer.

Templates can be associated with an event. Data is provided to the templates based on the type of event encountered. I.e. order info for order events and user info for profile events. Templates do have a naming format, but other than that are fully customizable. .Multiple languages are supported so if your customer purchases in Romanian, they can get their emails sent to them in Romanian too if you’ve provided the translation. Otherwise, the templates will fall back to English.

In response to Ali....
We responded immediately and asked for, but never received, any detail about his concerns (n description, screenshots, etc.). When we probed further, he indicated that he was having formatting issues in his 3rd party theme. We suggested he work with his theme provider. If he couldn't do that, we would be happy to help him but it would be standard rates for time and materials since our included support is for the responsive theme (and it's derivatives).

We never received any refund request and we never question those requests. We simply ask that you confirm that all copies of the software has been removed and destroyed. But again, we never received such a request.

This is the worst add-on, His support is also very bad, I bought his add-ons

Both of these add-ons have bugs and errors, for instance, all of my stores was about to crash due to his unstructured codes in his add-ons.

When I asked for support, he clearly said the add-ons are fine and he will charge to review the bugs and errors. I wasted $110 on his add-ons.

Developers like these are the reason why people not trust to outsource the help. Putting false information that his add ons are compatiable with certain versions when in reality they are not and they generate errors.

Works well and was relatively simple, even for a newb like me.

I'd like to see a couple of enhancements which would make it really great, imo.

1. ability to easily change the 'from' address without having to get my hands dirty. e.g. either display a list of addresses (user dept, orders dept, etc), and or/ability to simply add an address (not just cc).

2. finer control over scheduling. Engagement rates are shown to be higher for certain times of the day. So the ability to schedule sending say... 8pm on the first Monday, 10 days after item marked as shipped would be great. That way, I'd truly be able to set and forget.
