It supports tax calculation for checkout as well as returns, and supports both an Avatax sandbox environment (for testing) as well as live environment (for production).

This CS-Cart add-on provides integration with Avalara's tax calculation service Avatax to simplify your complex tax calculation scenarios. It uses their latest APIs for best performance, and supports both an Avatax sandbox environment (for testing) as well as live environment (for production).

This add-on supports:

  • Tax calculations for returns via CS-Cart's RMA functionality.

  • Custom tax exempt code for users

I don't normally give out 5 star reviews, but we've been very impressed with the responsiveness and support this add-on developer has provided. They helped us with customizing our theme so the data would appear the way we wanted it, understood issues we raised and addressed them quickly, and always gave us honest and straight forward answers. If you use Avalara for tax calculation and a recent version of CS-Cart, you *NEED* this add-on. Avalara has dropped support for their AvaTax add-on and it no longer works with CS-Cart's latest versions.

Ubiquicode has developed a replacement add-on that exceeds Avalara's own solution and is fully compatible with the latest versions of CS-Cart. Stop trying to make Avalara's old code work - just get this add-on.

The add-on handles all types of transactions and returns detailed tax information for every item and taxing authority for an order.

Ubiquicode is very responsive to support requests and knowledgeable about Avalara and CS-Cart's inner workings.
