Addon to Multi-Vendor, Multi-Vendor PLUS, Multi-Vendor Ultimate allows cloning products between vendors through CRON or through browser action.
We start from installing an extension:
In add-on configuration we need to set password, which protects cloning procedure from unauthorized execution. Password must be included when executing CRON script:
Cloning procedures are available in tab Vendors -> Manage cloning procedures:
During procedure creation, we need to set its name (which is purely informational), source and destination vendor, and few other parameters which alter list of cloned products and their state after cloning.
On record level, a link is also available which executes cloning based only on currently viewed procedure.
Created procedures are visible on list. A button is also available which executes all active procedures.
After creating procedures, we need to add script execution to server CRON (script is described in add-on README), on which store works. After execution, all active procedures will clone products to destination vendors, and then auto-disable. This prevents multiple executions of the same procedures - to clone products again, activate procedures.
