Content Page Templates

When you have multiple content pages on your site, it can be nice to easily set up different templates for each page. Many developers will end up coding the the single view.tpl file to adapt the layout for each content page. This nifty little addon lets you create multiple template files and pick which template should be used for each page, or use the default one.

How to use:

  • Install the addon as below, no need for a license key on this one.
  • Go to your addons folder under your live theme.
  • In the templates folder under 'page_redirects' create a tpl file and put your code in it. You will see a Hello World example there.
  • Next, in the admin area go to the content page and to the Addon tab. In the Page override box, chose the template you just created.
  • Your content page will now use this template instead of the default one.
