CS-Cart DualFeed (Google & Meta)

CS-Cart DualFeed publishes a permanent, self-updating XML product feed for Google

Shopping and Meta Catalog. You paste the address into the platform once; after that the feed keeps itself current.

WHY XML AND NOT CSV
CS-Cart's built-in data feed produces CSV, and CSV is blocked at both ends: Google does not accept it as a feed format, and the file lands under var/files/where the server answers 403. Measured on a real store: .csv and .txt return 403,.xml and .gz return 200.

WHAT IT DOES
• Publishes /google-feed.xml and /meta-feed.xml on your own domain, as permanent  addresses. No file to upload, no link that expires.
• Rebuilds itself when a price, stock level, product or category changes. A bulk  import rebuilds once, not once per product.
• Maps brand, GTIN, MPN, condition, Google product category, colour, size and  material from a product field, a product feature, or one fixed value for the
  whole catalogue.
• Leaves out what does not belong — disabled products, zero prices, missing  images, missing descriptions, test products — and tells you which ones and why, with clickable examples.
• Checks every item against the platforms' own documented rules before publishing, so problems appear on your settings screen rather than days later in a console.
• Answers conditional requests with 304 and can write a gzip copy alongside the XML.

THE DASHBOARD
The settings screen is a dashboard, and everything on it is measured from builds your store actually ran — nothing is illustrative.
• Catalogue coverage as a ring: the share of your catalogue that reaches the platform. 2,800 products is excellent for a catalogue of 3,000 and alarming for one of 40,000, and this is the number that tells you which.
• A trend chart per channel, from the recorded build history.
• Why products were left out, as proportional bars with example products.
• What the platform would flag — every item the validator caught, by reason.
• When the scheduled job last called, and whether it rebuilt anything or found nothing due. This is deliberately separate from "last built": a run that finds nothing due builds nothing, so without it a perfectly working cron and one that was never installed look identical.

The charts are computed on your server and drawn as plain images. There is no charting library and nothing is loaded from a tks behind a strict content-security policy and on a store with no outbound internet access.

ATTRIBUTES PUBLISHED
id, title, description, link, image_link, additional_image_link, availability, price, sale_price, product_type, brand, condition, color, size, material, google_product_category (Google), identifier_exists (Google).

PROVEN, NOT CLAIMED
Installed, activated, generated, served over HTTP and uninstalled cleanly on two real stores:

  Multi-Vendor 4.20.1 — 4,396 products, 2,800 in feed, 1,596 left out
  Ultimate 4.19.1.SP1 —   247 products,   235 in feed,    12 left out

REQUIREMENTS

CS-Cart 4.19.0 or newer, PHP 7.4 or newer. A scheduled job (cron) is required for the feed to stay current on its own; the settings screen gives you the line to paste. 

KNOWN LIMITS, STATED UP FRONT
• Catalogue promotions are not applied. The sale price published is CS-Cart's  list-price/price pair — the one the storefront strikes through. A time-limited promotion reaches the feed only when it is ex
• One currency per feed: the store's primary currency.
• The Meta feed is built to Meta's documented RSS 2.0 shape and validated locally; it has not been round-tripped througount.
