The EU General Product Safety Regulation (GPSR 2023/988) has been enforced since December 2024. 

Every product sold to EU consumers now requires a named Responsible Person, safety information on the product page, and accessible compliance documentation. 

This addon handles the CS-Cart side of that.

What it does

One new Compliance tab in the product edit panel covers all seven frameworks your products may fall under: GPSR responsible person and safety warnings, CE marking with Declaration of Conformity, RoHS compliance status, REACH SVHC declaration, WEEE recycling category, Battery Regulation fields (type, chemistry, Ah/Wh, removability), and Energy Label with EPREL registration. Fill only what applies — empty sections stay hidden on the storefront.

On the storefront, a Safety & Compliance tab and a Documents tab appear automatically on the product page. The Responsible Person's contact details, manufacturer information, hazard pictograms, energy label (A–G colour scale), battery recycling info, and WEEE instructions all render without any template editing.

Responsible Person and Manufacturer records are saved centrally — create once, reuse across hundreds of products. Update a record and it propagates everywhere instantly.

A compliance score (0–100%) tracks how complete each product's regulatory data is. It shows as a ring gauge in the product sidebar with a specific list of what's missing. Filter your entire product catalog by score to find the gaps fast.

Compliance documents (PDFs — Declaration of Conformity, RoHS certificate, SVHC declaration, WEEE instructions) use the native CS-Cart attachments system, tagged per regulation and grouped automatically in the storefront Documents tab.

Works on CS-Cart and CS-Cart Multi-Vendor. No addon dependencies. Compatible with Responsive, Nova, UniTheme2, and YoupiTheme out of the box.
