CS-Cart Expired Products Purchase Restriction helps store owners prevent customers from purchasing products after their expiration date. This add-on enables the admin to assign expiration dates to products, automatically disables purchasing of expired items, and allows customers to submit requests for unavailable products.

It improves customer trust, reduces the chances of selling expired inventory, and provides a centralized interface to monitor expired products, customer requests, and email notifications.

Admin Configuration

Expired Product View on Storefront: Customers can easily identify expired products on the storefront. Once a product reaches its expiration date, the Add to Cart button is removed and the product is marked as unavailable for purchase.

Customer Product Request: If customers wish to purchase an expired product, they can submit a product request directly from the storefront. The request is sent to the store admin for review.

Set Product Expiration Date: The admin can define an expiration date while creating or editing a product. Once the specified date is reached, the product automatically becomes unavailable for purchase.

Manage Expired Products: The admin can access a dedicated list of expired products to monitor their status, review customer requests, edit products, or update expiration dates whenever required.

Configure Notice Email Interval: Set the notification interval and interval type (days, weeks, months, or years) to receive timely email reminders before products expire.

Quick Access to Expired & Requested Products: Dedicated menu options allow the admin to instantly access both expired products and customer product requests from the administration panel.
