What Does Discontinued Products Add-on Do?

The add-on allows you to remove pages of the discontinued products from the sitemap and close them from indexing. As a result, the search robot will spend less resources on crawling the site. Since its resource is limited, there are more chances that the robot will get to the pages we need. The problem is relevant for large stores with a large number of products.
Increases the subscriber base.
If the page of a discontinued product was indexed and present in the search results, the subscription form on the pages of discontinued products will help to collect a subscriber base. You can export these subscribers to a csv file or transfer them to subscribers of this product.
Expands the administration capabilities.
