Delivery by the seller
The module integrates the seller's own delivery service with the store's or marketplace's website and automates it.
Important: for the module to work correctly, the module "Seller's employees and access role management" is also required.
The seller's own delivery service
Many stores and sellers on marketplaces have their own staff of couriers. In this case, you have to somehow manage and configure the interaction between the site and the seller's CRM, organize the transfer of orders to the CRM for distribution between couriers. And then you need to send information back to the site that the product has been delivered. It is long, difficult, and in some cases simply impossible.
To simplify this task, we have created the module "Delivery by the seller". In tandem with the Seller's Employees module, it allows you to directly integrate the courier service into the store's or marketplace's website, and distribute orders between couriers in the website's personal account interface. This greatly simplifies and speeds up the work, eliminates errors related to the human factor.
The work of couriers
For the module to work correctly, you first need to create profiles for all couriers and set them a priority for distributing orders. In the future, the couriers are assigned a vehicle, if required. Further, the distribution of orders takes place automatically, depending on the configuration of the module.
The courier can accept or reject the order. In the latter case, the order will be transferred to the next courier.
When a courier is assigned to an order, his contact details are sent to the buyer. The buyer also receives a unique code that is needed to confirm the fact of delivery. Code the courier hands over the customer's order, he requests the code and enters it in his personal account. The order status automatically changes to "Delivered".
Setting up the module
In the settings of the module, you set the rules for the distribution of orders:
• Evenly,
• According to the priority of the assignment of orders.
It also sets the statuses under which significant events occur: the appointment of a courier, code generation, displaying information about the courier in the buyer's personal account, and so on.
Next, you can set up status mappings to automatically change the order status by delivery status and vice versa.
Vehicles
A vehicle is assigned to each courier, if necessary. If it is a car (passenger or cargo), then the number and make must be indicated.
Together with the modules "Assembly of orders: DBS to the end customer" and "Assembly of orders: Translator of transport companies"
Order assembly modules adds order assembly functionality to your interface: order picking, packaging of goods, creation of accompanying documents.
If the statuses are correctly compared in the settings of both modules, the order statuses change automatically at all stages:
- After placing an order, the module "Assembling orders to the end customer" generates an assembly task for the storekeeper,
- The storekeeper collects the order and closes the assembly task,
- Information about the completion of the assembly is transmitted by the module "Translator of transport companies" to the module "Delivery by the seller",
- The module "Delivery by the seller" generates a delivery task and assigns a courier to the order.
- The courier accepts the order.
- The buyer receives a delivery confirmation code,
- The courier delivers the order and requests a confirmation code order,
- The courier enters the confirmation code in his personal account, the order status changes to "Delivered".
- This combination of modules greatly simplifies the work with orders in the case of self-delivery of the buyer's goods. Everything happens quickly and accurately, and most importantly, automatically.
