CartModules: Ekart Integration

Ship small parcels and cargo with Ekart Logistics, straight from CS-Cart

This add-on connects your CS-Cart store to Ekart Logistics, Flipkart’s shipping arm. You can create, track, label, and cancel shipments with Ekart directly from your CS-Cart admin panel — no need to sign in to Ekart separately for every order.

Ekart runs two separate services: one for small parcels (consumer deliveries) and one for larger cargo. They have different pricing, networks, and labels, so the add-on sets up two shipping methods — Ekart B2C for small parcels and Ekart B2B for cargo — and lets you use either or both. The add-on works standalone; paired with the CartModules: Advanced Shipping System foundation add-on you also get per-vendor credentials (Multi-Vendor editions only), multi-box shipment support, and centralized carrier status mapping across every installed carrier add-on.

Supported Services

Both use the Ekart carrier, but each connects to its own Ekart account with its own login details.

How It Works

1. Install the add-on — two shipping methods become available, Ekart B2C and Ekart B2B
2. Set up each method with the right Ekart login details (small-parcel details for B2C, cargo details for B2B)
3. A customer places an order and picks one of the Ekart methods at checkout
4. You (or your vendor) open the order and create the shipment with one click
5. The add-on books the shipment with Ekart and saves the tracking number
6. Download the label (small parcels), track the shipment, or cancel it — all from the shipment page

Requirements

• CS-Cart Store Builder or Multi-Vendor (single or multiple storefronts) 4.6.3 or higher
• PHP 7.4 or higher (tested up to PHP 8.3)
• An Ekart account for the shipments you handle (small parcel, cargo, or both)
• Recommended: CartModules: Smart Shipping & Fulfillment Manager (the per-vendor credentials feature requires CS-Cart Multi-Vendor)

Installation

1. Go to Add-ons > Manage add-ons, click Manual installation, and upload the addon zip file
2. Activate the addon and enter the license key
3. (Recommended) install CartModules: Smart Shipping & Fulfillment Manager first, then go to Shipping & Taxes > Shipping methods and set up the Ekart B2C and/or Ekart B2B methods with your Ekart login details (see Configuration)

Configuration Options

The add-on registers two shipping methods. Fill in the details for each account you use.

In Multi-Vendor with per-vendor credentials enabled, each vendor enters their own B2C and B2B details on their company profile (and only needs to fill in the set they use). The right account is chosen automatically based on the method the customer picked. Available actions: Update Tracking (B2C & B2B), Download Label (B2C only), Cancel Shipment (B2C & B2B).
