IP5 Agency — One-Click E-mail Login & Auto-Activation

This module solves critical authorization issues that online store customers face. It removes login barriers and prevents abandoned carts during the checkout process.

Use Cases and Features

Registered customers often remain in the "Disabled" status (for example, if an administrator missed manual user activation). When a customer returns to place an order, even with the correct password, they get the error message "Your account is closed". As a result, the store loses a potential order, and customer support loses time.

The module addresses two key scenarios:

• Automatic Activation: Automatically activates previously registered users upon their next login attempt, allowing customers to proceed seamlessly with checkout.
• One-Time E-mail Login (Magic Link): If standard password login is not possible, it sends a secure one-time login link directly to the customer's email.

1. Notification and Magic Link Login

Upon requesting login access, the customer instantly sees a notification confirming that a login link has been sent to their email address.

The customer receives an email with a dedicated button. Clicking it automatically authenticates the user and redirects them straight to the checkout page.

2. Admin Panel Configuration

Go to Add-ons → Manage add-ons → One-Click E-mail Login & Auto-Activation (ip5_email_login).

The settings tab offers flexible options to tailor the module to your store's workflow:

• Login Link Expiration (minutes): Set the lifetime of the one-time link in minutes (30 minutes by default).
• Default Return Dispatch: Specify the CS-Cart dispatch where users will be redirected after logging in (e.g., checkout.checkout).
• Sender E-mail: Optionally override the sender email address for system messages.
• Activate users automatically: Checkbox option that automatically changes customer status from "Disabled" to "Active" when requesting login or clicking the magic link.
