General Product Safety Regulation EU (GPSR)

This addon for CS-Cart and Multi-Vendor allows you to add elements related to the GPSR directive to the product.

We start by installing the addon:

The basic way to assign GPSR information to a product is to link a previously prepared information card with a feature variant. In the simplest case, it will be the "Brand" feature, but it can also be any other feature, the ID or CODE of which we enter in the addon configuration:

The GPSR card consists of three elements that we can manage from here:

• Responsible entity - these are the manufacturer's contact details
• Documents - files for the customer to download, e.g. safety information, user manual, etc.
• Other information - this may be, for example, information about the product importer

The GPSR card is made of three parts as shown below. We can attach any number of previously prepared files to the card.

Important! Each document is one file, but we can attach a different file for each language version. When a customer is in a store/marketplace, they see a file to download on the product card in the language version they are browsing the site in.

Once the GPSR card is prepared, we can assign it to a feature variant and each product with this feature variant set will display this GPSR card:

We can also assign the GPSR card to a product directly by going to the "Add-ons" tab:

If the product has a GPSR card assigned, the appropriate tab and its content appear on the frontend as shown below:

Files can be downloaded to your local computer by clicking the button.

An alternative, quick way to assign GPSR cards to products is to use the import/export module. Export products to a file with a limited number of columns as shown in the image above, then assign GPSR card IDs to products in the file (the GPSR card list shows the ID of each card as shown in the image below) and then import the file prepared in this way.
