An expensive product goes unsold not because nobody wants it but because paying the whole sum at once is hard. Instalments from the store remove that barrier without a bank in the middle: you define the terms and the invoicing runs itself.
What it does
- Several instalment plans: period, number of payments, whether a down payment and shipping are due at checkout.
- The payment schedule is shown to the customer during checkout.
- Payment details in the customer account and in the administration panel.
- Instalments enabled for a single product, a category or a payment method; bulk enabling through import and mass editing.
- Instalment terms text the customer accepts when ordering.
- Automatic invoices, customer reminders and overdue alerts for the administrator.
- A special label on products available in instalments — with Product Labels installed.
When it helps
Furniture, appliances, equipment, training — anything with a large ticket. The add-on is compatible with per-vendor checkout and with the built-in direct payments to vendors, so it suits marketplaces too.

Is this a bank instalment plan?
No, it is an instalment plan from the store: you set the terms, the money comes to you, and the add-on automates invoices and reminders.
What happens if a customer misses a payment?
The administrator receives an overdue alert and the customer gets a reminder about the next payment.
