Marks AI-generated content (products, reviews, pages) for EU AI Act Article 50 transparency

Extension for Store Builder and Multi-Vendor that marks AI-generated content in your store and keeps it organised in one place. From August 2026, Article 50 of the EU AI Act requires content created with AI to be clearly disclosed to the recipient. The AI Content Transparency add-on takes that duty on the store side. You assign products, pages, blog posts and reviews one of three origin categories, and both customers and search engines see that information on the storefront, with no code editing and no manual notes inside the content.

In the add-on settings you decide which content is covered by marking and how the label looks. Everything sits in one place: you tick whether to mark products, reviews and pages and blog, choose where the label appears on the product page, and turn machine-readable metadata on. A separate master switch pauses all marking during maintenance, without uninstalling the add-on and without losing saved markings:

You set the content origin right on the product or page. A dedicated tab appears there, where you mark to what extent the content was created with AI, exactly where you already edit the description. The No marking value clears an existing marking, so full control over what is marked and how stays with your team:

On the storefront a marked product receives a clear label, for example AI-generated content. You decide whether it appears below the product details or above the description tabs. Content declared as human-written deliberately creates no label, because that is honest information about the absence of AI, not a warning to the customer:

Marking does not stop at the product page. In listings and product blocks, every marked product also shows the origin label. It works independently of the store's standard badges, so it stays visible even where regular promotional labels are turned off:

If your store runs the AI Agent chat assistant, a notice appears below the chat window header telling the visitor that an AI is answering. You can tailor the notice with your own text, and the notice itself appears unobtrusively, without interfering with the chat. This fulfils the disclosure requirement for conversational systems from the very first message:
