Merchandising - Drag-and-Drop for products sorting

The add-on allows you to sort products in all categories of the store by position. This is especially needs for the first and second level categories, when the products are in the third level.

For example:

1) We have the structure: Electronics > Computers > Desktops

2) The product is in the Desktops category.

3) In the standard functionality, we can configure its position only in the category in which it is located: Desktops.

As result: The add-on allows you to adjust its position in other categories in the structure: Electronics and Computers.

A special section allows you to set the positions of products by moving the products with the drag-and-drop functionality.

Note:

Do not forget to enable Sorting by position in Settings -> Appearance and set it by default if you want.

Do not forget to clear cache after changes made.

The add-on replaces the standard logic of sorting by position with its own. All settings of positions in categories are made only in the Merchandising section. The "Position" fields in the product card and on the category list page become irrelevant.
