Instant smart search with autocomplete for CS-Cart and Multi-Vendor.

The add-on helps turn storefront search into a conversion tool. Customers see relevant products while they are still typing, reach product pages faster, and run into empty results less often. The shorter the path from query to product, the higher the chance that search ends with a click, add-to-cart action, or purchase.

Search can work with product names, SKUs, categories, features, vendors, and pages. This is especially useful for stores with large catalogs: customers may search by name, code, brand, product attribute, or vendor, and the add-on still helps guide them to the right result.

The add-on also helps with incomplete queries and typing mistakes. If a customer enters only part of a word or makes a typo, search can still show close matches in autocomplete. If a query returns no results, it becomes useful data: the admin can see it in analytics and add search words, synonyms, or improve product names.

Built-in analytics shows what customers search for, which queries get clicks, what gets added to cart, and which searches lead to purchases. This helps improve the catalog based on real search behavior: adjust product names, add synonyms, enable the right searchable fields, and find products that exist in the catalog but are hard for customers to discover.

System Requirements

The add-on requires Meilisearch. It includes an automatic SSH installation command: the installer checks the server, starts local Meilisearch in Docker, connects it to CS-Cart, and runs the first index build.

Server requirements:

• SSH access to the store server.
• Ability to run commands as root or with sudo.
• Linux server with curl and openssl.
