Why a store needs an app
A mobile site brings the customer in; an app brings them back. Repeat sales are the cheapest revenue in e-commerce, but a website has no tools for returning people: once the tab is closed you have to buy that customer again.
Push instead of retargeting Promotions, abandoned carts and order updates go straight to the phone screen, with no budget for showing ads again. |
Your brand within reach An icon on the home screen is a free brand touch every day — a bookmarked website never gets that. |
Faster than the mobile site A native interface with no browser: the cart and the session persist, checkout takes a couple of taps, fewer orders are abandoned. |
You build the home screen yourself
The home screen is configured in the admin panel, in the Cart-Power: Mobile app layout — exactly the way you build website pages. Six block types are available, each with its own templates.
- • Products — as a grid, as small items or as a horizontal scroller
- • Banners — regular and carousel, with video support
- • Categories — with their own icons and a configurable number of items
- • Brands, customer reviews and a vendor list for marketplaces
- • The «Show all» button links to a product, a category, a filtered category, a brand or a tag — routing happens inside the app
![]() Home screen: banners with a sale countdown, categories, blog and store reviews
|
![]() Vendor and brand blocks on the home screen
|
Catalogue and product page
- • Live search with query history; filters and sorting are in sync with the website
- • Two display modes — grid and compact list
- • Labels for promotions, new arrivals and bestsellers right in the list
- • Image gallery and option selection without opening the product page
- • Product tabs: features, tags, attachments, variations, vendor offers, availability by warehouse
- • Extended reviews with photos, a promotions block, recommendations and a video gallery

Cart, checkout and customer account
- • The cart survives between sessions; saved-for-later items do not clutter the current order
- • Reward points earned on each product are shown up front
- • Saved addresses, shipping choice, promo codes and points, a detailed total breakdown
- • Guest checkout: unauthenticated customers can add to cart and order
- • Order history, one-tap reorder, returns and order messaging
- • Points balance, language, currency and notification settings

Push notifications and campaigns
Notifications are configured in the standard CS-Cart section — separately for customers and vendors — and edited like ordinary email templates. The app has a single notification centre: a missed push is not lost and can be opened later.
- • Segmentation across 30+ parameters: last order date, average order value, order count, activity, new and lapsed users
- • Campaigns to people who installed the app but never signed in
- • Multilingual texts within one campaign
- • Images and deep links — to a product, a category, an app screen or an external URL
- • Scheduled sending, all from the admin panel

App-only capabilities
Products hidden on the website The «Hidden on website» status: the product sells in the app only and never appears on the storefront. |
App-only promotions A promotion that works in the app alone — a reason to install it and keep it. |
Filter for app orders The order list shows exactly what the channel brings in, with no manual exports or counting. |
For marketplaces: the Vendor tab
On the Multi-Vendor edition vendors work straight from their phone: sales analytics, transactions and balance, product and stock management, status changes and order handling, built-in notifications. Plus multiple storefronts in one app, with the customer choosing the storefront.

What you configure without a developer
- • App colours with a preview — loaded from the admin panel, changed without a rebuild or store review
- • Dark theme; on a multi-storefront store each storefront can have its own scheme
- • Icons and splash screens generated from the images you upload
- • Side and main menus taken from standard CS-Cart menus, with icons
- • Category icons for the home screen and the category list
- • Every string in the app through language variables
- • An «install the app» banner on the site for iOS and Android visitors
- • Closing the storefront for the app alone — you can test without closing the website
Supported add-ons and platform settings
The app respects the «Track inventory» and «Out-of-stock actions» settings and supports downloadable products, geolocation and city detection.
- • Out of the box: RMA (returns), call requests, message centre, reward points, product reviews, reviews and comments, warehouses, common products, social and Apple ID sign-in
- • Cart-Power add-ons: Auction, Minimum order amount, OTP registration, Smart Search on Elasticsearch
- • Third-party: AB: Stickers, AB: UniTheme2, AB: Video gallery, AB: Category Banners, AB: Motivation Block
- • Also: product bundles, Share Cart, fast customer registration
Plans
There is one app — the plans differ in how much of the launch we take on and which licence edition your store runs on. The monthly price is exactly one tenth of the one-time price, so beyond ten months buying outright is cheaper. A subscription is easier to start with, but the app runs only while payments continue. Bought outright, it stays yours.

From the second year access to updates renews at $790 per year for a store and $1,590 for Multi-Vendor. You may also choose not to renew — the app remains yours and keeps working, but there will be no new builds for changes in store requirements.
Publishing to the stores
We publish to the App Store, Google Play, RuStore and Huawei AppGallery — the price is the same per store. The Turnkey and Marketplace plans already include the App Store and Google Play; other stores and the App plan are priced below.
| Publishing and support until release, per store | $180 |
| Icon and banner design | $120 |
| Store listing copy and keywords | $120 |
| Push setup through Firebase | $80 |
Apple and Google developer accounts are registered in your name and paid at those companies' rates, so the rights to the app stay with you. We will help you register them if you do not have them yet.
Maintenance
One, three or six months of support are already included in the plan. After that the app has to be rebuilt for Apple and Google requirements, the connector watched and the product developed — otherwise the app quietly drops out of the stores.
Basic — $80 per month 2 hours of work. Monitoring the API, the connector and builds, renewing Apple certificates and Firebase keys, one rebuild per year. Reply within two business days. |
Standard — $160 per month 5 hours. Everything in Basic, two rebuilds per year, home-screen blocks, promotions and push campaigns configured by us. Reply within one business day. |
Premium — $320 per month 10 hours. Everything in Standard, four-hour response to an outage, connector and API work, a quarterly report, 50% off Cart-Power add-ons. |
Unused hours do not roll over; work beyond the package is $35 per hour. Take maintenance for both the store and the app and the second plan is half price.
How the launch goes
We take on the whole job: from purchase to submission takes under a week. From you we need a logo with brand colours, access to the store admin panel and Apple and Google accounts if you plan to publish.
1 Connection
We deploy a copy of your site on a dev server and connect the app — everything is tested in a safe environment.
|
2 Branding
Brand colours, logo, icon and splash screens. We configure the home-screen blocks around your assortment.
|
3 Integrations
Push notifications, Google Analytics and any services you need — ready to work from day one.
|
4 Publishing
Screenshots, listings and submission for review. We see it through to release in the stores.
|

FAQ
A separate native app for iOS and Android: the customer installs it from the App Store or Google Play, and it runs on your store's data.
No. Products, prices, stock, promotions and orders are the same as on the website; management stays in the CS-Cart admin panel.
From purchase to submission it is usually under a week: setup on a dev server, branding, integrations and listing materials. Review times depend on Apple and Google.
You can publish it yourself or order publishing from us — $180 per store. Apple and Google developer accounts are registered in your name either way, so the rights stay with you.
The app is switched off: the subscription is the right to use it while payments continue. Buying outright has no such condition, which is why beyond ten months buying is cheaper.
We see it through to publication at no extra cost: we redo screenshots, listings and whatever review objects to, and submit again. The only limit is that the app and the goods must comply with the laws of the country the store publishes in.
Yes. We build a demo on your own catalogue, so you see your own store in the app rather than an abstract example.
Standard CS-Cart add-ons, Cart-Power add-ons and popular third-party solutions are supported — the full list is in the section above. We check your particular set at the first step, and custom integrations are possible on any plan.
Yes. We extend the functionality on request and connect the CRM, analytics or ERP you need. Changes that alter the data being exchanged also affect the connector, so they are carried out by Cart-Power specialists.
A responsive site solves the first visit; an app solves repeat purchases: it is already installed, it remembers the customer and it lets you reach them with a push notification at no advertising cost.

Two add-ons that change how a store performs
Everything else we publish improves one screen. These two change the numbers: how customers find products, and how often they come back.
|
Add-on · Search & merchandising Smart SearchElasticsearch-powered search for large catalogues. The customer types two letters, sees products with images and prices, and buys from the dropdown — even after a typo or with the wrong keyboard layout. Visitors who use the search bar are 24% of traffic and 44% of revenue, and convert about 2.5× better than people who only browse categories. If search returns nothing, up to 80% of them leave.
| ||||||||
Try it on a live catalogue: open the demo store and search with a deliberate typo. |
|
Add-on · Mobile commerce PowerApp — mobile app for your storeA native iOS and Android app running on your CS-Cart data: the same products, prices, stock, promotions, reward points and orders. There is no second catalogue to maintain — everything stays in the admin panel you already use. A mobile site brings a customer in once; an app brings them back for free. Push notifications replace the retargeting budget you spend to buy the same customer a second time.

When no add-on solves it, we do the work
Fixed scope, written specification, a named project manager and a warranty on what we ship.
|
Custom CS-Cart development Functionality the platform does not have: add-ons, marketplace mechanics, integrations with 1C, CRM, ERP, payment and delivery providers. We start from a written specification, not from an estimate on a phone call. Details → |
|
CS-Cart upgrade Move to the current version without losing data, custom code or add-ons. We audit every modification first, upgrade on a staging copy, adapt what breaks and switch over with little or no downtime. Details → |
|
Speed and performance optimisation Conversion falls by about 4.4% for every extra second of load time. We profile the server, the database and the front-end, then fix what actually costs the seconds — and show you the before-and-after numbers. Details → |
|
Design for CS-Cart Mobile-first storefront design built on CS-Cart's own template structure, so the layout survives the next platform upgrade instead of becoming a migration problem. Details → |

SEO for CS-Cart A technical audit of indexing, duplicates, redirects, structured data and Core Web Vitals — delivered as a prioritised fix list your developers can act on, or that we implement ourselves. Details → |
How we work
What you get besides the code
|
Before we start We discuss the goal, offer options and write the specification. You approve scope and price before development begins. |
While we build A named project manager reports progress on a fixed schedule. You always know what is in work and what is next. |
|
Before release A separate QA pass on every release — the developer who wrote the code is not the person who signs it off. |
After handover Documentation for everything we ship, plus a warranty on the modifications and the project. |
Tell us what the store needs to doDescribe the task in a couple of sentences and we will come back with options, a scope and a price. The consultation is free, and we will say plainly if a ready-made add-on already solves it.
