The module adds block filling with products from the main category of the current product. Allows displaying "similar products" from the same category, excluding the current product from the list.
Main features
New block filling ms_block_goods in the block manager. Retrieving products by the product's main category via fn_get_product_main_category_id. Excluding the current product_id from the selection. Option "Display only when product is out of stock" — the block is hidden if the product is in stock.
How it works
In the block manager (Design → Layouts → Product blocks), the filling ms_block_goods appears. The get_products_pre hook overrides the selection parameters: sets category_id by the product's main category, exclude_pid — the current product. The get_products_post hook, when the "Display only when product is out of stock" option is enabled, resets the output if the product is in stock.

Design → Layouts → select filling ms_block_goods for the product block on the product page.
