Dependence of product status on characteristics
This add-on changes a product status automatically according to the value of the selected feature. If the product has the Да variant, it is disabled. If it has the Нет variant, it is enabled again.
Why it is useful
- to enable or disable products based on one feature value;
- to avoid manual status changes after bulk edits;
- to keep product visibility tied to a single characteristic;
- to run a separate status refresh for the whole catalog.
Main features
- changes the product status by a feature with Да and Нет variants;
- supports bulk status refresh through a dedicated controller;
- uses the feature ID from the add-on settings;
- does not change products that do not have the target feature or use another value;
- works in the admin panel.
How it works
First, create a product feature of the Selectbox type and add the Да and Нет variants. Then enter its ID in the add-on settings. After that, assign the feature to products and launch the bulk status update. The add-on finds products by feature value and updates their status automatically.
