Extended Store API

The add-on extends the standard CS-Cart API and gives external clients one consistent way to work with the catalog, cart, orders, reward points, pickup points, and storefront settings.

What It Is For

• to connect a mobile app, customer portal, or any other external client to the store;
• to provide external services with current catalog and customer data from a single source;
• to apply storefront settings, stock availability rules, bonuses, and payment rules on the store side;
• to publish customer product collections through the same API.

How It Works

The administrator sets the banner block ID, brand feature, main category, and warehouse filter, and can separately enable availability checks for the app and the website. Payment methods can be marked as app-visible, while a compatible wishlist add-on enables collection publishing through the API.

The external client connects to the store API with the required permissions, requests catalog and customer data, adds products to the cart, recalculates it, and places an order. If reward points, warehouses, pickup points, Paygine, or collections are enabled, the module passes those data flows as allowed by the current settings and integrations.

The main settings are located under Administration → Add-ons → Manage add-ons → Extended Store API.
