Accept PayPay QR Code Payments in Your CS-Cart Store

Integrate PayPay — Japan's most popular QR code payment service with over 60 million registered users — directly into your CS-Cart or Multi-Vendor store. Customers complete payment by scanning a QR code or tapping through the PayPay app, providing a fast and frictionless checkout experience.

  • Configurable Order Statuses — Map PayPay statuses (Completed, Canceled, Expired) to any CS-Cart order status
  • HMAC-SHA256 Authentication — Secure API communication using PayPay's official HMAC authentication
  • Idempotent Callbacks — Duplicate webhook notifications are safely ignored
  • JPY Currency — Native Japanese Yen support (integer amounts, no decimals)

Requirements

  • CS-Cart or Multi-Vendor 4.x
  • PHP 7.1 or higher
  • PayPay merchant account with API Key and API Secret
  • Store currency set to JPY (Japanese Yen)

How It Works

  1. Customer selects PayPay at checkout and clicks "Place Order"
  2. A unique QR code is generated via the PayPay API
  3. Customer is redirected to the PayPay payment page to scan or approve payment
  4. After payment, customer is redirected back to your store
  5. Order status is updated automatically based on PayPay's response

Installation

  1. Go to Add-ons > Manage add-ons, click Manual installation, and upload the addon zip
  2. Activate the addon and enter the license key
  3. Go to Administration > Payment methods and create a new payment method
  4. Select "PayPay Payment Gateway" as the processor
  5. Enter your API Key and API Secret from the PayPay developer dashboard
  6. Configure order status mappings as desired
  7. Save and test with sandbox mode before going live

Country & Currency

This addon is designed for merchants selling in Japan. PayPay exclusively supports JPY (Japanese Yen). Ensure your store's primary currency is JPY.
