Requirements

• CS-Cart or Multi-Vendor 4.x
• PHP 7.1 or higher
• Pesapal merchant account with API 3.0 credentials
• Store currency set to a supported Pesapal currency (KES, UGX, TZS, RWF, MWK, ZMW, or USD)

How It Works

1. Customer selects Pesapal at checkout and clicks "Place Order"
2. The addon authenticates with Pesapal and submits the order
3. Customer is redirected to the Pesapal hosted payment page
4. Customer selects their preferred payment method (M-Pesa, card, etc.) and completes payment
5. Pesapal sends an IPN notification to your store and the customer is redirected back
6. The addon verifies the payment status and updates the order

Installation

1. Go to Add-ons > Manage add-ons, click Manual installation, and upload the addon zip
2. Activate the addon and enter the license key
3. Go to Administration > Payment methods and create a new payment method
4. Select "Pesapal Payment Gateway" as the processor
5. Enter your Consumer Key and Consumer Secret from the Pesapal merchant portal
6. Register your IPN URL with Pesapal and enter the IPN ID
7. Configure the default currency and order status mappings
8. Save and test with sandbox mode before going live
