This add-on is included in Speed-Up add-ons package (supplied free of charge for package owners with an active subscription to updates). It allows you to speed up page loading, reduce load, improve Google PageSpeed Insights

Add-on provides technical implementation of preloading font files and ensures the use of priorities for loading image files (improves FCP/LCP performance)

The principles of operation of the "Preload" add-on:

You will be able to specify a list of links to the fonts used by the storefront, the font format and the need to automatically add a timestamp and font processing status. All fonts added to preload with active status will be preloaded on page load using Preload (regardless of their use). There will also be available preloading of graphic files that are used by pages in the upper visible part of the site and automatic preloading for product lists, the main product image, and the main blog image. Higher levels of stability on page load and faster rendering of important page content can improve UX
