Product Configurator has become quite a required software so we bring the default CS-Cart Configurator back in v4.2.4 ,4.3.x 4.4.x 4.5.x 4.6.x. 4.7.x and 4.8.x with a few new additions and some bug fixes.Product Configurator is a tool allowing you to set up configurable products in your webstore and to simplify the sale of complex products like personal computers, for example.
CS-Cart Product Configurator Add-on improves your webstore's functionality in case you have configurable products to sell allowing to create a product composed by a number of pre-developed components.Sadly CS-cart stopped supporting this since v4.1.1, so we decided to give it a boost and bring it back.
New functionality is added with our new Display Type "Input Field" . You know have the ability to show options in the list of pre-developed components and choose one for each product in the list and there is also on the fly calculation of price when quantity or options are changed in the list.
The rest works the same way as it did in the default CS-Cart Configurator in earlier versions, as we use the same core script, with same functions and limitations (no "Sign up for notification", "available since" date, and no availability messages or stock number on products in Configurator list and on main configurable product, but also no option Combiantions functionality for main Configurable Product)
Only exception is the fact that we removed the compatibility classes form the Addon for speed reasons, so if you need that you need to conatct us, so please use the "Product Inquiry" tab.
