This is a very useful tweak which adds one more option to the drop-down pools when creating a new block. A must for marketplaces with more than 50 products in each category.

But if there are little or no products in the category, the random selection doesn't work as there is nothing to display. It would be nice to remove the dependency on the same category and similar products, and to make the choice of the products really random - any number of products from anywhere, not only from this category.

Здравствуйте. Спасибо за бесплатный модуль Случайные товары. В моем магазине посетители в день совершают по 2-3 визита. Благодаря этому модулю есть возможность представлять им каждый раз новый ассортимент. У меня нет данных пока по влиянию этого на конверсию, пока ориентируюсь на мое субъективное мнение, что это лучше, чем показыаать каждый раз один и тот же набор товаров или менять их вручную.

A great addon that have been a must in cs-cart. Although eCom made it for us for free and it works great in 4.4.2.

If you are lazy as me to fill manually promotions or stuff to blocks, newly listed and similar are already displayed, random products come really handy to display any products just random. Really must have addon. Works like charm.
