Many electronic products are sold by subscription today. Most often we are talking about software, but it can also be services, games, books, music, educational material, and so on.

When selling such goods, payment is charged from the buyer not at a time, but regularly in small amounts. Usually it is several hundred rubles once a month. But longer subscription periods are also possible.

Accordingly, depending on which payment method the buyer chooses – payment by invoice or by bank card, you will need to regularly create a new account for each subscriber or make a request to the bank for debiting money. And if at the beginning of your site's work it is still somehow imaginable, then as it develops, processing subscription orders manually will become completely impossible.

To automate this process, we have created the module "Regular payment and implemented recurrent payments".

MODULE FUNCTIONALITY

The module tracks the subscription period specified in the order and the payment method chosen by the seller. When the payment time is right, the module generates a child order to pay for a new subscription period.

For example: the buyer purchased an item with a subscription period of 1 month with payment on the invoice. 20 days after the subscription starts, the module will create a new child order and based on this order, a new invoice for the next subscription period will be generated and sent to the buyer. The buyer will have several days to pay the invoice. A new invoice will also be generated next month, and so on until the buyer cancels the subscription.
