Module "Product card template: Variation of goods and/or services" for CS-Cart

It is designed for those areas of business activity in which one product or service is found in various variants. It will be useful for business owners in tailoring, manufacturing of printing products, furniture production, providing educational or cosmetological services and many others.

Description of the module

The various characteristics of the product vary in different combinations, forming a mass possible options for the final product. This module allows you to create a ready-made offer for each item.

Examples:

• Sewing bags. Options with a handle, with embroidery, with accessories and so on in different combinations.

• The printing house. The choice of density, size, and paper quality in various combinations.

• Training is a distance or full–time course, a choice of subjects in the program, options for passing term papers and exams.

Technically , all options are created in the system 1C warehouse accounting and others, or you can import them via CSV or create them manually.

Module functionality

• Modifies the standard product profile for the convenience of step-by-step selection of parameters.

• There is a possibility for each variation adding a separate banner to accurately describe the parameters.

• Displaying characteristics in the form of a list or tile.

• For each variation value ( tile display), you can add a separate image, description, headings H1-H4, that is, to introduce additional features into the description of each position search engine promotion, increasing the overall ranking of the site and speeding up the filling of the page with text content.

• Information about the cost of the product with the selected set of options is displayed on the right side and changes when switching to other options or another item.

The module allows you to combine a huge number of variations in one product card, differing in size, color, weight, and technical characteristics. With the help of buttons and drop-down lists, the buyer will be able to choose exactly the product that suits him best. At the same time, he will not have to switch between many product cards. When selecting a specific feature, the price will be recalculated automatically. Selecting one characteristic may block the selection of another characteristic if they depend on each other.

Several products, in fact, are variations of each other. With the help of the module, they can be combined in such a way that the buyer sees all the variations from one product card without switching to others.

TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS

• It works on CRON;
• Sets the default product card settings;
• Allows you to connect product variations through an existing product.

MODULE SETUP

1. After installing the module, go to the "Modules" tab, select the "Module Management" and "MAURISWEB" tabs in the drop-down menu.

2. In the list that opens, select the module you are interested in and click on its name, highlighted in blue or black.

3. On the page that opens, select the "Basic" tab.In case the license key is not set automatically and the module settings are blocked, log in to your account at www.maurisweb.ru copy the license key and paste it into the appropriate item. The key has also been sent to your email address.

4. In the "Available domains" and "Test domains" sections, check the validity of the specified domains. You can add additional domains by clicking on the white "Add Domain" button on the right side of the page. The total number of domains should not exceed three.

5. Go down below, select the "Basic settings" section and check the box "Save data when deleting the module" so as not to lose them when reinstalling the module.

6. Go to the "Appearance" tab and check the box "Put a photo of the product, if there is no characteristic icon" to enable this function.

7. If it is necessary to show the article of the product, then tick the appropriate box.

8. To display the quantity of the product in stock, check the box "Show quantity".

9. If you need to show drop-down lists, check the appropriate box.

10. Check the box "Show option under the icon" to enable this feature.
