You can now set the shipping method per product and get those heavy items send by special delivery or even ask the customer to contact you for a shipping cost.
All that is possible with the use of "Shipping method per product or call for shipping cost" Addon.
You can set the shipping method in "Shipping Options" tab inside each product or even import it via csv if you have many products you wish to treat special.
If you have setup a shipping method with the "Contact us for a price " checkbox then all products using this method will give no shipping cost in checkout. Customer will be asked to contact the store in order to arrange Shipping.
This will also occure even if the customer has other normal shipping items in cart. When a special shipping item will be added in cart then all items will be shipped with the same way as this one.
Easy to setup, create the special shipping method and just choose the products, you wish to use this shipping method!
