Installation Steps :

- Open the Add-ons drop-down and select Downloaded add-ons

- Click on gear wheel and select manual installation

- Upload the zip file and click ‘Upload and install

- Add on installed successfully

Creating an API token for Shippo.

You need to create an account for Shippo. From https://apps.goshippo.com/logi... From this link, register your account. After successful registration of your account, go to the developer key from your account.

After this you will see interface llike below and you can request live api key and you can also create test api keys.

After creating the API key, be sure to copy it and store it in a secure location for future use. You will need this API key in the steps below.

Shippo Integration Steps:

Step 1: Admin opens the Shippo Add-on.

Step 2: After opening the Shippo Add-on, the Admin will see the settings section. Fill in the required details and save the changes.

Note: Admin can select the Auth Type. Such as a Web App(Auth2) and an API Token.

Step 3: If the admin selects the Web App(Auth2) and saves the changes, then vendors will get the ‘Connect’ button to connect with the Shippo add-on. And get the URL to create webhooks.

Step 4: If the admin selects the API Token and saves the changes, then vendors will have to pass the API Token to connect with the Shippo add-on. Also, get the URL to create webhooks.

If the admin selects the Web App (Auth2) option, the 'Client Secret' field will be required and must be entered.

If the admin selects the API Token, the 'Client Secret' field will not be optional.

When creating the webhook, use the same URL provided below the API token/connect button

There is one option named Vendor’s will use API key, in this there are two options as Admin & Vendor.

If you select Vendor then you don’t need to enter any credentials, Each and every vendor will use their own credentials from Vendor panel > Seller info > Addon’s tab > you will see their option to enter Api key

If you select Admin from addon settings then you your credentials will use for vendor shipping and vendor will not get option to enter credentials.

In vendor panel:-

Go to Seller info > Addons tab

If vendor is exporting his/her products from US then vendor needs to enter Export Control Classification Number, this number is used to export internationally.

You will see service levels which is required to select at least one, you can select multiple service levels, this will come according to your account. And then multiple shipping method will show in frontend on the basis of selected service level.

• Carrier - Required for live shipping rate calculation. Make sure at least one carrier is set up.

• Webhook - Required to properly sync shipments from Shippo back to CS-Cart, including tracking updates.

If you select the "Both Admin & Vendor" option in the addon settings, your (Admin's) API credentials will be used for vendor shipping only if the vendor has not provided their own API key. Vendors will have the option to enter their API key in their panel. If a vendor provides their own API key, it will be used; otherwise, the Admin’s API key will be used as a fallback.

In Vendor Panel

Vendor also get option to enter Api key, but its optional for vendor.

The service level will be displayed based on the Admin's API key if the vendor has not entered their own API key. If the vendor does enter their API key, the service level will be displayed based on the vendor's API key instead.

Live Shipping Rates Flow:

If a vendor has connected their Shippo account and configured their preferred carriers, customers will see live shipping rates for that vendor’s products at checkout.

Create Shipping Methods -

Step 1: Navigate to Settings> Shipping methods > Add Shipping methods

Step 2: Choose Shippo for rate calculation, give the shipping method a name, and then create it.

Place Order / Checkout page -

When a customer places an order with a vendor who has enabled Shippo, live shipping rates will be displayed on the checkout page. If the vendor has selected multiple service levels within a single Shippo shipping method, customers will see multiple shipping options during checkout.

In admin panel / Vendor panel when you will go to order detail to create shipment then you will see this type of interface and click on ‘create detailed shipment’  

Then you will this type of interface you will see, if customer had choosen shippo shipping method then fields only show data which service level and which carrier has been seletced by user while placing an order. 

Once the shipment for the order is created, the order will also appear in the Shippo shipment list. 

Here we can see the tracking number, status, and download the label.  

After opening the order, we can check the shipment details. 

On the frontend, users can track their order. 

After clicking on the Track Order list will open.
