Requirements

• CS-Cart or Multi-Vendor 4.x
• PHP 7.1 or higher
• SumUp merchant account with API credentials (API Key and Merchant Code)
• Store currency set to a supported currency

How It Works

1. Customer selects SumUp at checkout and clicks "Place Order"
2. The addon creates a checkout session via SumUp's REST API
3. Customer is redirected to SumUp's hosted checkout page to pay with their card
4. After payment, customer is redirected back to your store
5. The addon verifies the checkout status and updates the order accordingly

Checkout Modes

• Redirect (Default) — Customer is redirected to SumUp's secure hosted checkout page
• Inline (Embedded) — SumUp Card Widget JS SDK renders an embedded payment form directly on your checkout page, with support for Google Pay

Installation

1. Go to Add-ons > Manage add-ons, click Manual installation, and upload the addon zip
2. Activate the addon and enter the license key
3. Go to Administration > Payment methods and create a new payment method
4. Select "SumUp Payment Gateway" as the processor
5. Enter your API Key and Merchant Code from the SumUp developer portal
6. Configure order status mappings as desired
7. Save and test before going live
