Live UPS rates, labels, and tracking — domestic and worldwide, from CS-Cart

CartModules: UPS Shipping is a full UPS carrier add-on for CS-Cart: live shipping rates at checkout, create shipments, download labels, track packages, and cancel shipments — all without leaving your CS-Cart admin panel. It covers domestic shipping in the United States, Canada, Mexico, Poland, Germany, and other European countries, plus international and cross-border services, all through a secure connection to UPS.

Once set up, live UPS rates show up at checkout on their own, worked out from weight, dimensions, and the destination address — no manual price tables. Optional negotiated (contract) rates and an admin markup give you control over what customers pay. The add-on works standalone; paired with the CartModules: Advanced Shipping System foundation add-on you also get per-vendor credentials (Multi-Vendor editions only), multi-box shipment support, and centralized carrier status mapping across every installed carrier add-on.

Each service shows up as its own shipping method, so you can price them differently, assign them to different vendors, and use different login details.

How It Works

1. Install the add-on and enter your UPS Client ID, Client Secret, and Shipper Number
2. Create a shipping method in CS-Cart and pick the UPS service you want to offer
3. At checkout, customers see live UPS rates based on their address and cart contents
4. When an order is placed, the add-on books the shipment with UPS and saves the tracking number
5. Download the UPS label from the order page and attach it to your package
6. Click Update Tracking any time to pull the latest status, or Cancel Shipment to void it

Requirements

• CS-Cart Store Builder or Multi-Vendor (single or multiple storefronts) 4.6.3 or higher
• PHP 7.4 or higher with cURL available (tested up to PHP 8.3)
• A UPS developer account with the Rating, Shipping, Tracking, and Void APIs subscribed
• A UPS Shipper Number (6-character UPS Account Number)
• Recommended: CartModules: Smart Shipping & Fulfillment Manager (the per-vendor credentials feature requires CS-Cart Multi-Vendor)

Installation

1. Go to Add-ons > Manage add-ons, click Manual installation, and upload the addon zip file
2. Activate the addon and enter the license key
3. (Recommended) install CartModules: Smart Shipping & Fulfillment Manager first, then go to Shipping & Taxes > Shipping methods, add a method, pick UPS and a service, and enter your UPS login details (see Configuration)

Configuration Options

In Multi-Vendor with per-vendor credentials enabled, vendors enter their own Client ID, Client Secret, and Shipper Number on their company profile. Available actions: Update Tracking, Cancel Shipment, Download Label.
