The AutoImage Lite add-on proposes to eliminate this issue by automatically resizing and cropping your images, while maintaining a predefined aspect ratio.

All the image processing is done on your own server rather than on a 3rd party service; your images are safe.

This works! Moreover, this works even after updates from UniTheme2 which frequently cut into other add-ons. The team is also very helpful and answers question/fixes issues very fast. I highly recommend this add-on to those going for an Instagram-look

This add-on is great if you want those horrible white borders to be goone for good. Personally, I think this is the bug of CS Cart that the pictures with the size YxY do not cut properly, but this add-on solves it instantly and automatically.
