First, if you are undecided about a cart platform, and have read the less than stellar web reviews about CS-Cart, ignore the reviews and have an easy mind. CS-Cart is fantastic. Far more comprehensive and powerful than I anticipated. CS-Cart has many well developed features and is easy to administer. I migrated from a simple web site where I did everything in HTML and used PayPal buttons for my shopping cart and payment gateway. CS-Cart gave me multiple payment options, including a merchant account so that I am not dependent upon PayPal.

My only complaint with CS-Cart is the documentation. It seems to be cobbled together. The search function in the help area is not helpful very often, but I saw today that I can down a manual. Regardless, when I send an email to the support team with a question, I always have a response the next morning. I have not had a question or issue that has not be resolved.

Cart Tuning configured my site. They loaded the catalog, created graphics, and created templates and documents for me at a reasonable price. My developer was Jake. He responded to every question and problem quickly and professionally. The response time was the same until every last question and issue was resolved. He was a pleasure to work with. Cart Tuning knows CS-Cart very well, so you will not be paying for someone's learning curve.
