Export and import of 301 SEO redirects

The add-on adds a dedicated 301 SEO redirects section to the standard CS-Cart import and export tools. It helps administrators move, update and check redirect rules without editing every record manually in the admin panel.

What it is for

The add-on is useful when a store is moved, the catalog URL structure changes, URLs are corrected in bulk, or SEO maintenance is performed regularly. Instead of editing each redirect by hand, an administrator can export the current list, prepare changes in a file and import it back through the standard CS-Cart import workflow.

How it works

After installation, the 301 SEO redirects section appears under Administration → Import data and Administration → Export data. During export, the add-on creates a file with old URLs, new URLs and languages. During import, it checks records by old URL and language: if a matching 301 redirect already exists, the add-on updates its new URL; if the imported row belongs to another redirect type, it is skipped. In Ultimate, the store is also taken into account.
