Product options and product variations

The add-on expands the possibilities of customizing personal options for individual products and its variations of products.

Point setting of options

Some groups of products suggest the possibility of providing additional services: lifting to the floor, assembly, installation and configuration. These services can be arranged as separate products, but it is more convenient to make them options for the product. In the options settings, you can specify the cost of the service in a fixed amount of money or as a percentage of the cost of the product.

That's just in the standard functionality, the possibilities of point adjustment are extremely limited. As a result, almost every product will have to create a separate option to take into account the difference in cost, for example, the assembly of a small bedside table and the assembly of a large wardrobe.

To simplify the work and reduce the number of options, we have created for you the add-on "Options for options for a product or product variations".

Add-on functionality

The add-on allows you to create various options and add them point-by-point to individual products or groups of product variations.

So you can set for the option "Equipment installation" options "Water connection required" for washing machines, "Assembly and configuration required" for a computer, and so on. As a result, you are left with one option for different product groups, and you only have to add specific options to individual products.

It is extremely simple to do this. A new tab appears in the product card – "Options". You just need to go to it, select the desired option and set the options that are suitable for this product.

Also with this add-on, the administrator can give sellers the opportunity to independently set a margin for each option option.

For example, for the furniture category, the marketplace adds the option "Rise to the floor" and several options: 1,2,3, 4 and so on floors, with elevator, without elevator and so on. The seller selects those options that are important for his scheme of work and sets the margin for each of the selected options himself.
