Description

Creating a category tree for a marketplace is a very important task, because how convenient and logical it will be will depend on how easy it will be to find the right product on your site. There are several situations when it is necessary to clone the category tree partially or completely:

• A new seller arrives with a new product category for the marketplace. It is necessary to create a new category in the markteplace along with all subcategories based on the currently loaded;
• It is necessary to create additional categories for products that have a similar division into subcategories: for example, there is already a category "Boxing clothes, and you need to create a branch for "Swimming clothes. One click and the clones are ready, complete with the missing

Functionality

The module clones the entire category tree or its separate branch – a category with subcategories.After the transfer, you will need to rename only the prefix (CLONE) in the first upper category, the rest do not need to be renamed. 

• Copies the directory structure — clones the category tree with subcategories
• Leaves the names of all elements of the category tree unchanged, except for the primary one - Adds the prefix (CLONE)
• Suitable for duplicating the catalog structure to another showcase or creating a system of subcategories for similar product groups
