At the most basic level, using our addon display realtime shipping rates to customers and you can import orders to ShipStation and generate shipments, shipping labels from there. Once information is generated same is updated on CS-Cart too.

Steps to follow for successful integration :

1. Open the Add-ons drop-down and select Manage add-ons

2. Click on gear wheel and select manual installation

3. Upload the zip file and click ‘Upload and install

4. Add on installed successfully

5. Open the General tab after editing vendor and reach to a section showing option to add Ship Station Api Keys. Each vendor can connect their own ShipStation account.Note : ‘Enable shipment generation from Shipstation ...’ button should be clicked otherwise if Shipment is created at ShipStation, then shipment will not be updated at Admin panel of CS-Cart

After entering API keys vendor can select carrier they want to use.

Realtime shipping rates ShipStation method will be available while creating shipping method, need to select ShipStation as Rate Calculation option.

In configuration tab admin/vendor will have option to select shipping service to be used for shipping method.

While if CS-Cart Store builder versions (i.e no vendors) are in use then Configuration tab will have options to add API keys and after entering API keys, enabled carriers and shipping services from shipstation will be available to choose.

6. A Webhook is successfully added (Settings -> Integration Partners -> Webhooks)

7. Select a product of that vendor and Click ‘Add to Cart’

8 Select any payment method and Click on Place Order.

9. Now the order is placed at admin panel at Orders -> View orders

10. Also the same order is placed at ShipStation Awaiting Shipment and Manual Orders

Note : The order will be placed in Manual Orders under the status of the Order 

For example , it’s present in Manual Orders under Awaiting Shipment 

11. Now , Open the Order # 808 , Provide the required details like Ship From , Weight , Service and Package and ‘Create + Print Label’ Button generated for valid inputs

12. Afterward the Status of the Order will changed to Shipped

Note : The User can also take the print of Packing Slip at ShipStation where Shipment is Created

13. Choose shipping service and generated Tracking number is also updated under order placed at cs-cart admin panel automatically.

Note: Addon doesn't display realtime shipping rates on CS-Cart using ShipStation.
