SMS Notifications for CS-Cart — order updates by text

An email can sit unopened for a week; a text message is seen straight away. For the messages that have to arrive on time — order accepted, parcel shipped, package waiting at the pickup point — this is the most reliable channel. The add-on connects the store to an SMS gateway and sends messages on events.

What it does

Automatic texts when the order status changes.
Shipment texts with the tracking number and the carrier.
Manual messages to a specific customer from the administration panel.
Templates with variables: order number and date, name, pickup point address, amount due and more.
A log of sent messages.
Integration with 16 gateways — sms.ru, smsc.ru, smsaero.ru, beeline.ru, twilio.com and others.

What to keep in mind

Message pricing is set by the gateway you choose and paid for separately. If your gateway is not on the list, write to us and we will add it. Paired with code-based registration you get verified phone numbers rather than numbers entered with a typo.

Advantages

The SMS Notification Add-on works so well and the technical support team is very swift and prompt.

Disadvantages

The Add-on does not support Admin and Vendor notification
