The usual editing routine looks like this: spot a typo on the storefront, open the admin panel, find the product in the list, fix it, go back, reload. This add-on removes half of those steps — the control bar sits right on the storefront.

  • Editing of products, categories and pages from the customer area.
  • Cache clearing and removal of compiled templates in one click.
  • Switching between the storefront and the admin panel without entering your credentials again.

When it helps

For a content manager who edits dozens of descriptions a day, and for a developer who has to clear the cache after every template change. The bar is visible to the administrator only — customers never see it.

No, it is shown only to a signed-in administrator.

Yes, any number of links and groups of links — for example to the admin sections you open most often.

Useful plugin to simplify the navigation bar.
Some improvements that would be beneficial for the plugin to have, and which we have had to implement on our own via database changes or CSS/JS manipulation:
- increase the link limit to more than 50 characters by default
- enable link and group reordering
- enable link and group to be displayed for a specific user role
- enable link to be opened in a new window/tab (especially for external links)
