Select the CS-Cart edition on which you will use the add-on.
The update period determines the period of time when you can get access to the new versions of this add-on compatible with the new versions of CS-Cart software released during the chosen period.

A product without a photo looks like a broken site: the shopper decides the store is unfinished and leaves. Such items appear by themselves — after a price list import or when a product is created in a hurry. This add-on takes them off the storefront and helps you find them in the admin panel.

What it does

  • Excludes products without images from categories and search results.
  • Highlights such products in the product list in the administration panel.
  • A quick search for products without images.
  • In the Ultimate edition it is configured per storefront.

What to keep in mind

A hidden product is still reachable by its direct URL — the add-on removes it from the catalogue and search but does not take it off sale. That is convenient: links from ads and bookmarks keep working while you add the photos.

Is the product deleted from the store?

No, it is only hidden from categories and search and remains available by its direct URL.

How do I find every product without a photo?

In the administration panel: the add-on highlights them in the list and adds a dedicated search by that criterion.

Advantages
Disables store products with no images. You can later add images and enable. It gives you the ability to search products with no images and more.
Disadvantages
The add-on had a little trouble recognizing some products with no images if status changed.
Comment
I had the task of removing or disabling a few hundred products from my eCommerce store that did not have images. I will be adding later, but I needed them disabled until then. I ran across Hide products without images add-on and it was a game changer for me. My products auto update, so I definitely recommend getting it if you have hundreds or thousand of products to keep images up to date.
