Import from Etsy: CS-Cart add-on by Cart-Power

The Import from Etsy add-on allows you to import the general information about products from your store on Etsy.com to the CS-Cart store. All you need is to be registered as the Etsy developer.

The instructions on how to use the module:

1. Install the add-on and input the license number on the Add-ons > Manage add-ons page in the store administration panel, specify the license number.

2. If you have the developer account on Etsy create the new app on Etsy. After that, you get the API key. Copy it and paste into the API key for Etsy field on the Add-ons > Manage add-ons > Cart-Power: Import from Etsy page. If you do not have the developer account, please create it here.

3. Open the Products > Import from Etsy > Etsy category manage page and get the Etsy categories. Set the correspondence (map) between Etsy categories and your store categories. You do not have to map all categories. Use the Search form to find necessary ones, Specify the Default Etsy category on the Products > Categories > [chosen_category_name] > add-ons page. This category can be only one in the store. This category is used when you import some products from an unmapped category.

4. Go to the Products > Import from Etsy page, specify Etsy shop name and get its listings. After that, tick the required products, click the gear button and choose Add selected to import queue. Add other products if necessary and click the gear button > Process import (number of chosen products) in order to initiate the import procedure. The results of the import will be displayed on the same page. All imported products will get the Disabled status.

Wow wow wow wow wow wow wow wow wow wow wow wow !

This is not my first add on review, yet, this is what it makes me feel.

You need to understand, I own a multi-vendor version, and many of my vendors have also ETSY shop, and if I asked them to open a shop just like that on my marketplace, their answer would be "No thanks, we are investing our time and effort in ETSY", but with this magnificent add on, I'm telling them "jump on board, it will take you less then 3 minutes to transfer your entire shop to my marketplace", their answer is "Of course, and thank you for providing us with more marketing channel for our business".

You need to understand, some of my vendors have more than 500 items in their shop, transferring them manually won't happen unless my marketplace is Amazon, which obviously I'm not (but I can dream that I might will be one day :D) and so, no shop owners from ETSY will take his/her time in order to copy every single item 500 times just to have also a shop on my marketplace.

This is where this awesome, perfect, great add on comes to play a significant role, because it gives ETSY's vendors such an easy life to copy their entire shop to my marketplace and now they can sell their items on both marketplaces.

I was actually shocked when I first encountered this add on by Cart-Power, the reason is that I never believed that any Cs-Cart team will develop this type of add on, its like taking a trip to the Africa's jungle to watch animals in their natural habitat and to find a rare diamond while watching a zebra.

Even if you're a store owner of a regular Cs-Cart version, don't hesitate, buy this add on in case you want to have shops on your own website and ETSY, with this add on you can makes changes to the items on ETSY and then import this changes with this add on.
