Moving a catalogue off Etsy by hand means recreating every listing with its photos, description and attributes. The add-on pulls the data through the Etsy interface and creates products in CS-Cart according to the category mapping you define.

What it does

  • Import of products from one or several Etsy shops.
  • A category manager: Etsy categories are matched to store categories once.
  • A default category for products whose mapping is not defined.
  • Selection of the items you need and a queued import, with a limit per run.
  • Product weight imported along with the rest of the data.
  • Import for marketplace vendors, which the root administrator can restrict.

When it helps

For sellers moving a shop from Etsy to their own site, or running both at once and unwilling to create the same product twice.

FAQ

Are stock levels synchronised after the import?

The add-on solves the transfer of products into the catalogue; from there they live in CS-Cart as ordinary items.

Can I import only part of the catalogue?

Yes, items are picked by hand from the fetched list and added to the import queue.

This is not my first add on review, yet, this is what it makes me feel.

You need to understand, I own a multi-vendor version, and many of my vendors have also ETSY shop, and if I asked them to open a shop just like that on my marketplace, their answer would be "No thanks, we are investing our time and effort in ETSY", but with this magnificent add on, I'm telling them "jump on board, it will take you less then 3 minutes to transfer your entire shop to my marketplace", their answer is "Of course, and thank you for providing us with more marketing channel for our business".

You need to understand, some of my vendors have more than 500 items in their shop, transferring them manually won't happen unless my marketplace is Amazon, which obviously I'm not (but I can dream that I might will be one day :D) and so, no shop owners from ETSY will take his/her time in order to copy every single item 500 times just to have also a shop on my marketplace.

This is where this awesome, perfect, great add on comes to play a significant role, because it gives ETSY's vendors such an easy life to copy their entire shop to my marketplace and now they can sell their items on both marketplaces.

I was actually shocked when I first encountered this add on by Cart-Power, the reason is that I never believed that any Cs-Cart team will develop this type of add on, its like taking a trip to the Africa's jungle to watch animals in their natural habitat and to find a rare diamond while watching a zebra.

Even if you're a store owner of a regular Cs-Cart version, don't hesitate, buy this add on in case you want to have shops on your own website and ETSY, with this add on you can makes changes to the items on ETSY and then import this changes with this add on.
