Abandoned cart reminder

The add-on sends email reminders to customers who added products to the cart but did not place an order. The sending schedule is configured in days and the run is performed by cron.

What it is for

To bring customers back to unfinished purchases without manual cart processing or repeated follow-ups by a manager.

How it works

On a cron run the add-on selects unfinished carts within the configured age range. Before sending, it checks the customer data and the cart contents, excludes disabled and deleted products, and then records the last sending time so that emails are not sent too often.

Add-on settings

The settings are available in the add-on card in the "Add-ons" section.

• Cron password — the password passed when the mailing is started by cron.
• Cart abandoned days by comma — how many days after the last cart change reminders should be sent, for example 2,3,5.
• Cart abandoned maximum days — how many days a cart remains relevant for the mailing.
• Cron command — a ready-to-use command or URL to run the mailing on a schedule.
