Bonus points as a re-sales incentive is a very good tool, but how can you get your customer to buy more often and remind them of themselves again if bonus points are just waiting for the customer? As one of the rules of marketing says, the offer should be limited in time. That's why we upgraded the standard bonus points add-on. Meet me:

Burn Reward Points

The "Burn Reward Points" add-on allows stores to fine-tune the validity period of bonuses and set the date of their combustion. Thus, stores can stimulate the activity of customers by providing them with additional motives for using bonuses on time. The add-on also sends notifications about the imminent burning of points, encouraging your customers to return for new purchases.

Basic Add-on Settings:

The “Settings” tab:

1. Lifetime of bonus points:

   The add-on allows you to flexibly manage the lifetime of bonus points. You can set the number of days during which points remain active after accrual.

2. The Crown team:

   To automate the process of calculating notifications and burning points, the add-on provides a link for the crown. Just specify this link in the settings of your cron server, and the process will start automatically at the specified time.

Additional add-on settings:

The "Management” tab:

1. Launch the newsletter:

   Initiates sending notifications to users whose points will expire after a certain number of days (The number of days is set in the main add-on settings).

2. Burn the points:

   Allows you to delete all bonus points of all users without the possibility of recovery. This is useful if you need to review the terms of a loyalty program or make other strategic changes.

The “Newsletter” tab:

1. Enable the newsletter: A checkbox that allows you to activate the notification distribution function.
2. Choosing a mailing list: A list where you can select a mailing list template from the preset options.
3. Notify the user in (days): The input field, which indicates the number of days before the bonus points are burned, for which the notification will be sent.
4. The number of users who will receive the email: Displays the number of users who will receive a notification according to the selected settings.
5. Variables for the mailing list template: A list of variables available for use in the mailing template, allowing you to personalize the content of the notification.

The "Special Date" tab:

1. Choosing a mailing list for a special date:

   A list that allows you to select a mailing template that will be sent to customers on a specified special date.

2. Special date:

   A field for selecting a specific date when bonus points will be burned.

3. Notify customers in (days):

   An input field where you can specify the number of days before the special date for which the notification will be sent. You can enter multiple values separated by commas.

4. Variables for the selected mailing list template:

   A list of variables available for use in the mailing template, which allows you to personalize the content of the notification.
