The add-on turns product image file names into readable Latin names based on the product title. It helps remove Cyrillic and random file names from image URLs, keep the media library cleaner, and reduce issues with external services, SEO tools, and data feeds.

What it is for

The add-on is useful for stores where product images are uploaded with Russian names, technical names, or inconsistent file names. After processing, image files receive transliterated names based on the product title, and the image paths are updated in the store automatically.

How it works

An administrator runs bulk processing in the Product Images Transliteration section. The add-on checks product images, builds a filename from the product title, renames the file, and updates the image reference in the store. When a product is updated later, the add-on checks its linked images and applies the same naming rule.
