Pro Slider

What it does

Alt-team Pro Slider turns your CS-Cart graphic banners into a professional, touch-friendly slideshow for the storefront. The add-on registers a dedicated Layout Manager block powered by Slider Pro and extends the standard Banners module with layered captions, thumbnail text, and responsive images — without replacing your existing banner workflow.

Marketers configure slides in the familiar banner editor; designers place the block on any layout and tune animation, thumbnails, and autoplay per block.

Key features

• Pro Slider block — add promo carousel anywhere via Layout Manager; fill manually or use the “newest banners” filling.
• Three animated caption layers — overlay up to three HTML text layers per slide with preset styling (background, padding, rounded corners), position, size, depth, and show/hide animation timing.
• Responsive banner images — upload separate images for mobile, tablet, large desktop, and retina; breakpoint widths are configurable in add-on settings.
• Rich thumbnail strip — optional thumbnail image plus title and description for each slide; control thumbnail size, position (top/bottom/left/right), arrows, and pointer.
• Flexible slider behavior — per-block options for autoplay, loop, shuffle, fade transitions, arrows, pagination buttons, fullscreen, touch swipe, keyboard control, and caption fade.
• Storefront preview in admin — preview tab shows how a saved graphic banner will look on the storefront (layers positioned from stored data).
• Seamless Banners integration — uses CS-Cart banners, multilanguage descriptions, and standard permissions; no separate content type to learn.

How it works

1. Install the add-on — enable Alt-team Pro Slider and ensure the standard Banners add-on is active.
2. Create or edit graphic banners — open Marketing → Banners, choose type Graphic, and use the Pro Slider tab for thumbnails, responsive images, and caption layers; save to refresh the preview.
3. Add the block to a layout — in Design → Layouts, insert the Pro Slider block, select banners, and adjust block properties (size, autoplay, thumbnails, captions).
4. Publish — clear cache if needed; the slider initializes automatically on the storefront.

Q: Does it work with Multi-Vendor?
A: Yes. The add-on supports Ultimate and Multi-Vendor editions and uses the core Banners module.

Q: My CS-Cart version is below the minimum in Requirements. Will the add-on work?
A: Contact us with your store version — we can adapt the module to your CS-Cart release if needed.

Q: Can I use my existing banners?
A: Yes. Graphic banners are extended with Pro Slider fields; the block pulls banners through the standard banner picker and fillings.

Q: Do I need to edit templates or code?
