The Profile Types for Users & Vendors add-on allows you to create several profile types for users and vendors. You can configure a set of profile fields for each profile type. Users will see them on registration and checkout pages. Also you can choose a user group to assign users after the registration.

Separate Customers and Vendors by Type and Display a Different Set of Profile Fields for Each.

Individuals, companies, sole proprietors, dealers, suppliers, and partners each have their own needs. Individuals don't need bank details or a tax identification number (TIN), while companies require a full set of legal data. However, the standard registration process in CS-Cart works the same for everyone. As a result, a single registration form with a universal set of fields for all situations becomes a source of problems:

Users see unnecessary fields
Managers waste time clarifying information
Errors appear in documents
Businesses lose leads before orders are placed.

The "Profile Types for Users and Vendors" add-on solves this problem and displays only the required fields depending on the selected user profile type.

What Will Change After Installing the Add-on

For Customers and Vendors:

A separate set of fields for each profile type; users see only the necessary fields, nothing extra;
The ability to change the profile type after registration (configurable);
Product filtering by vendor profile type - making it easier for buyers to find the right suppliers and navigate the platform;
The user can place an order with a different profile type without changing the user profile data (data is saved only for the order).

Advantages

Это очень крутой модуль. Моя заказчица обновила версию магазина до 4.17.1. Я обновил данный модуль и он начал выдавать баг. А именно, на странице оформления заказа в некоторых случаях не подгружался нужный профиль. Я написал в службу поддержки. Мне ответил Владимир Бирдюк и начал выяснять подробности. В результате совместной работы, мне удалось точно описать условия при котором данный баг появляется. А команда модуля проверила мои выводы, нашла баг и устранила его. Теперь модуль работает идеально. Благодарю команду модуля за чуткость и отзывчивость. Разумеется буду рекомендовать заказчице покупать модуля данной компании и дальше.

Недостатков нет. Только приятные впечатления.

Advantages

Данный модуль был приобретен для магазина https://greatime-shop.com/ моей заказчицей по моей рекомендацией. Заказчице нужно было выполнить разделение покупателей на физические и юридические лица. И особенность этого модуля в том, что после регистрации покупатель автоматически помечается в группу пользователей, созданную под него. И в итоге получается в моем случае 2 группы пользователей для физических и юридических лиц. Такой подход позволит предоставлять каждой группе пользователей точечно таргетировать спец предложения, а заказчице позволит удобно обрабатывать данные и в итоге принесет повышенную прибыль.

Служба поддержки модуля отвечает на вопросы (в случае их возникновения) четко, быстро и точно. Мне очень понравилось У меня были 2 проблемы, которые разработчики помогли решить. При необходимости разработчики могут доработать данный модуль индивидуально под ваш запрос или решить другие проблемы под заказ.

Иными словами служба поддержки https://cart-power.ru/ работает круче и четче чем поддержка самой платформы cs-cart
