On a marketplace a single customer order splits into shipments from several vendors. If a vendor gets one small item, shipping it costs more than the sale — and the vendor either refuses or leaves the platform. This add-on sets a floor for every one of them.
What it does
- A minimum order amount of its own for every vendor.
- A check of the vendor's items in the cart at checkout.
- A clear notice telling the customer how much more is needed.
- Configured on the vendor's side, in their panel.
When it helps
Platforms selling small, inexpensive goods — components, cosmetics, stationery: without a floor a vendor receives orders that are not worth picking. It also works for the average order value: the customer tops the basket up instead of abandoning it.
