Web Push Notification for CS-Cart

Note: Before installing the add-on, extract the downloaded package.

1. Install the License Manager add-on first.
2. Then install the required add-on.
3. Follow the license activation steps to generate your license key.

CS-Cart Web Push Notification: CS-Cart Web Push Notification allows store owners to send instant push notifications directly to customers' browsers. Customers can subscribe to notifications from the storefront and receive timely updates even when they are not actively browsing the store.

The add-on provides an effective way to engage customers, drive traffic back to the store, and improve customer retention. Unlike traditional email notifications, web push notifications appear directly in the browser, helping merchants communicate important updates, offers, and announcements quickly.

Please Note- To enable Web Push Notifications for Safari browsers, Safari Certificates are required. If you do not have a certificate, you can purchase one from Webkul. The certificate is valid for 5 years.

If you want to create your own certificate, you need an Apple Developer account with an individual membership plan costing 99 USD per membership year. For the certificate creation process, please refer to the User Guide Manual.

Admin Configuration

The admin can configure the Web Push Notification add-on from the backend and manage notification settings according to the store requirements. Admin can create notifications, add notification titles and messages, configure the target URL, upload a notification icon, and send notifications to subscribed customers. The admin can also view and delete notification logs for better management of previously sent notifications.

Storefront View

Customers can subscribe to web push notifications directly from the storefront. Once subscribed, they can receive notifications from the store through their browser. Notifications can be clicked to redirect customers to the configured target URL, helping merchants promote products, offers, announcements, and other important store updates.
