Customer communication

Customer communication adds a contact method selector to checkout. Customers mark the channels that suit them, while managers see the saved choice in the order and can proceed directly to a call or conversation.

What it is for

The add-on records the customer's communication preference before the first order follow-up. Managers do not have to ask whether to call or send a message: the configured contact methods and the customer's selection are available in the order details.

How it works

1. The administrator activates the required channels, selects which ones appear at checkout, and optionally configures defaults, labels, and custom icons.
2. The “MS: Customer communication” block is added to the checkout page layout.
3. The customer marks one or more suitable contact methods. The selection is stored with the order.
4. In the order details, the manager sees the configured channels and the customer's selection. Phone, Email, WhatsApp, Telegram, and Viber open the corresponding links, while the number for MAX can be copied.
